Description
Carstens Publications, Inc. and Hybrid Systems Ltd., Inc. are proud to offer the Toy Trains Digital Archive!! Published from 1951 through 1954 as a stand-alone publication (and included in Railroad Model Craftsman from 1956 to 1957), Toy Trains was a hobby magazine like no other! Focusing on, as the name implied, the toy train segment of the model railroading hobby, each issue was loaded with articles about Lionel, American Flyer, Ives, Bing, and many other toy train manufacturers. Highly respected authors of the 1950s (and up-and-coming authors who would have long-lasting careers in the model train publishing industry) contributed hundreds of feature articles. At its peak, more than 160,000 copies of Toy Trains were printed each month! After a 50-year hibernation, the Toy Trains Digital Archive is breathing a second life into these great magazines!
