Flying a 4 liner requires practice; however, controlling the kite is made easier by using the brake lines. The brake lines should always 'hang down' and be lightly carried; it should brake the kite only for stunts or for landing purpose. If you are power kiting in strong winds, you should always wear a helmet, knee and elbow protectors as well as sturdy shoes. We recommend that you use KiteKillers in strong winds; these are wrist straps from which a strong cord leads to the brake lines. This prevents the kite from flying off if we should let go.
