They are known as "Open Ended Toys". Its uses are endless. They can be used for a puppet theater, a storefront, a make believe kitchen and anything else that your child's imagination will come up with. You can drape a rainbow silk or large cotton cloth to make a fort or a little house. This unique piece of furniture is gorgeous and adds coziness and warmth to any home decor! Use as book shelves or canopy bed once your child gets older! They are made of high grade 1x12" pine and measures 41" wide x 42" high. There is 2 shelves in each of these stands. The shelves are 37" long and 15" apart.The two canopies are included in this set about 29 inches long. Height of Playstands with canopies in place is 54" (4ft. 6in.) high.
