The dimensions are 30 inches x 20 inches. This ready to run layout is portable and is housed in a polished aluminum briefcase. Included are 2 built-in speed controllers for the 2 independent circuits (inner & outer loops). It takes a two 9-volt batteries or optional AC adaptors. The AC adapters are included. The suitcase is very durable and protects the layout well. The track arrangement is a folded-over figure-8 with an outside loop surrounding it. I am the orginal owner. The only things altered are the addition of two Noch VW buses and water effect to the pond. The buses were lightly glued with white glue and the water effect fits over the pond and can be easily removed. This layout is in excellent condition and runs great. I'm selling it for medical reasons. The layout is in its original aluminum briefcase and also includes Marklin diesel trains #8874 and #8879. Marklin passenger set #87670 is also included. In addition, I have a excellent condition Noch Sound Station II 60214 included. This is a great ready to run system that will provide years of service and fun.
