Description
Up for auction is a Metalcraft 1932 Heinz Truck, marked Baked Beans, Bottled Vinegars, and Rice Flakes.  On the underneath it says MetalCraft Corp. St. Louis Made in U.S.A.  The decals are in pretty good shape considering the truck is over 75 years old.  It also has all 4 original tires.  It is missing the back door and the front grill.  If you can find the proper grill, it will be battery operated with working headlights.  Measures 12 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide, and 5 1/4 inches high. Info about MetalCraft  Metalcraft rolled out its first pressed steel trucks in January of 1931.  The majority of the trucks exhibited advertising.  in 1933 the battery operated grill was patented.  In 1937 the company closed its doors because of the Depression.  The company only produced one million trucks.    I do not claim to be a vintage truck expert, and I try my very best to describe each vehicle the best I can and as honestly as I can.   The item will be sold as is.  If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.  Please take a look at many of my other toy auctions going on now.   Thank you,
