I have not tested any operation of this set other than the engine, which works well, but the light is out, smoke works. Whistle in the tender just clicks, will probably need lubed up etc.  This set, just in from a large collection, was not run for many years, just shelf sitting!  It appears to be in nice shape for its age with these couple exceptions I noticed.  There is a small chip off the catwalk on the Baby Ruth boxcar.  The numbers 671 are very faint on the engine, possible touch ups on catwalk edge.  Green electronic decal on one side of the dump car is partially missing.  There is very old dirt on the cars that will very likely clean off well and this set will display very well in your Lionel post-war collection!  You could display it just the way it is, or you could clean it up some if you wanted to.  This is a very rare set and one that you will be proud to own!  The pictures can describe it better than me, so please study them well.  And then, use your own grading.     Please view the pictures and you be the judge!   Don't miss it though,  it is a nice one!      We appreciate your business!       See pictures for further detail and description!                THE SHIPPING COST YOU SEE LISTED IS FOR SERVICE TO THE CONTINENTAL U.S.A.  PRIORITY MAIL OR UPS, DEPENDING ON SIZE AND WEIGHT.  BY BIDDING ON THIS ITEM YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW.  PLEASE READ COMPLETELY BEFORE BIDDING!  INTERNATIONAL BUYERS MUST USE PAYPAL!
